While I believe anyone appointed by Albanese is likely compromised, I’m really sick of seeing questions like, “Why were no women promoted?”, “Why is there no gay/trans representation in government?”, “Why aren’t there diverse races employed?”

How about we stop focusing on the colour/gender/sexual orientation of those employed in leadership positions, and instead demand character? Are they suitable for the job? Does their skill set actually match what is needed for the job? Have they been involved in fraud previously?

What happens when we bow to this demand for diversity is people like Karine Jean-Pierre employed by Biden end up babbling in front of a camera, simply because we needed a “diversity hire”.

What actually matters more here, equal representation of gender, or equal representation of good character?
