Hello,

I write in relation to the recommendation from the Department of Health for children in schools to wear masks.

I was extremely distressed and disappointed that your school has been pushing masks at the children in the school.

My daughter tells me that masks were brought into her classroom and offered to the students. She also tells me when she stated that the masks are bad for children because they breathe in their own toxins, she was dismissed. It is an undisputable fact that people rid their body’s of toxins by their breath. Putting masks on healthy people hinders this process and nearly all toxins are pushed back into the body.

The only people who should wear masks are sick people. Healthy people wearing masks does more harm than good.

However, that is not the point of my email.

Please do not spin me the line that it’s the school's priority to keep the community safe. That is rubbish. The school’s priority is to educate children. Not push a medical device onto them and fill them with fear regarding a government recommendation.

Parents are and always have been responsible for their children’s health. Parents have been advised that masks are recommended. If they feel it necessary for their healthy child to wear a mask that should be their call. It is NOT the duty of the school or teachers to inform children what the government recommendations are in classrooms. The power should always lie in the parent's hands.

I believe the teachers and leadership team at your school should be deeply ashamed of their actions in filling children with fear regarding a glorified cold. You have absolutely overstepped the mark and there are number of parents in the community who are disgusted with the teachers and school’s actions.

It broke my heart on Tuesday night when my daughter started crying because she didn’t want to be pressured to wear a mask again, nor have her healthy friends wearing masks at school. She made the comment it was so sad that she wouldn’t be able to see their smiles anymore.

The government told EVERYONE that vaccination was going to be the end of the Covid theatre including restrictions.

Given that they tell us, 96% of people are vaccinated, the masks should NOT be pushed anymore in the community or in schools.

I respectfully request you both cease pushing the masks and Covid theatre on my daughter and all the children in the school who should be free to be children and not buy into the fear cult that seems to be something the school is obsessed with.

I look forward to your confirmation you will cease traumatising my daughter with the continued fear mongering.
