Well its almost that time. 4 pm Swiss time (2 am Wednesday here on the east coast of Australia) The scientists at CERN are firing up the Large Hadron Collider after a three year refit and they are hoping to double the speed of the particles being shot at the speed of light then colliding causing a massive collision which the scientists want to observe. They are not sure what will happen and they say it PROBABLY won't go wrong. PROBABLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They do say if something goes wrong the best case scenario is a 30 kilometre wide and 1 kilometre deep crater will result from the explosion.
