Amazing what is considered “safe and effective” these days, isn’t it?

Considering the data in this table from our trusted saviors at Pfizer, I find it very hard to believe.

Even what is reported, over 4 million adverse reactions, it’s still damning.

But comparing the adverse events by country, when you research doses administered by country, Australia is very high on the chart in comparison to other higher population countries who’ve administered a lot more jabs than we have.

Does that mean something is wrong with the jabs administered here in Aus?

Or are we just way better at reporting cases than, say Canada, China, India, Brazil or Mexico?

Russian State TV Says North Korea Reportedly Offered Moscow 100,000 "Volunteer" Soldiers for War With Ukraine

North Korea has reportedly offered to send 100,000 soldiers to bolster Russia’s war with Ukraine, Russian state TV has claimed.

The pariah state’s offer of military assistance could not be immediately verified, but it was seized upon by Russian defense pundit Igor Korotchenko.

“There are reports that 100,000 North Korean volunteers are prepared to come and take part in the conflict,” Korotchenko said on Russian Channel One.

Korotchenko was notably interested in what he called the North Korean’s “wealth of experience with counter-battery warfare”—a telling remark given reports of Ukraine’s long-range artillery success since acquiring US-made HIMARS rocket systems in June.

“If North Korea expresses a desire to meet its international duty to fight against Ukrainian fascism, we should let them,” Korotchenko said.

Top Russian Hypersonic Missile Scientist Arrested on Treason Charge

A leading Russian scientist in hypersonic flight was arrested on suspicion of treason on Friday (August 5), according to Russian state media.

Dr Alexander Shiplyuk, director of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences' Siberian Branch, is the third Russian scientist this summer to be arrested on suspicion of treason.

The institute's scientific director Vasily Fomin told the Russian news agency TASS that Shiplyuk was sent to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center in Moscow.

His detention comes after the arrest on June 27 of the chief researcher of the institute, Anatoly Maslov, who is suspected of transferring state secret data related to hypersonic missiles.

Head of Amnesty International in Ukraine Quits

Oksana Pokalchuk, the head of Amnesty International's office in Ukraine, has resigned from her post after a scandal over the human rights organization's criticism of the actions of the country's military amid its war with Russia.

Pokalchuk announced her resignation in a statement to Facebook one day after Amnesty International accused the Ukrainian military of endangering civilians by establishing military bases in schools and hospitals, and launching counterattacks from heavily populated areas.

"If you don't live in a country invaded by invaders and are tearing it to pieces, you probably don't understand what it's like to condemn an army of defenders. And there are no words in any language that can convey this to someone who has not felt this pain," Pokalchuk said.

Pokalchuk said she held meetings with the leaders of Amnesty International to discuss information about the war but the text recommended by her office was "deleted" and replaced with what the organization published Thursday (August 4).
