Because it functions independently of thinking.
In fact - fighting fear makes it worse.
You can only push it down below conscious levels - then it controls you for the rest of your life and you don't know why.
Fear can only be… transformed.

To understand fear we need to
understand all our emotions.

We are taught that we ARE
our emotions rather than we
EXPERIENCE them.

Emotions are neither GOOD or BAD.
“I am angry” becomes
“I am experiencing anger”
Emotions are not facts.
What is the good purpose of this feeling?
What has this come to teach me?
