Massive spend on policing at a time when the government is broke and the social fabric is in ruin.

A large chunk of the spending is for new recruits... well I have to say that anyone who wants to be a police officer in this climate of tyranny and apartheid has got to be a special type of individual!

What I read here at first glance is the integration of policing (compliance and enforcement) in the framework for the Digital ID which will inevitably lead in some way to the social credit score.

I wouldnt take away any tool or training from police that would make them better officers for the public they are sworn to serve, neither would I deny them equipment to make the job safer.. but.. in a broken society that has suffered greatly under government over reach and the undeniable abuse of basic human rights, a massive budgetary increase for policing does not sit well with me.
