❗️???? The US House of Representatives will vote as early as Tuesday on a new $40 billion aid package for Ukraine, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing Democratic aides.
President Biden had asked Congress to provide $33 billion in funds for Ukraine, including $20.4 billion for military aid, $8.5 billion in economic assistance and $3 billion in humanitarian help.
But lawmakers have drafted legislation to allocate an additional $3.4 billion in defense aid and $3.4 billion in humanitarian assistance.
