Our voice is on of the most powerful tools we were given. I know it can be hard but I encourage you all to use yours this election, what you have to say matters. As Australian citizens our time is now, we must come together and stand up, speak up and rise up. Most importantly we must remain courageous and unafraid.

Not my best angle, however thank you to the Borderwatch for helping me get my name out there. It feels strange talking to the paper about being a candidate as I do not feel like a potential politician. I am and will always be just one of you, that is the important thing this election, ensuring we vote in people not politicians.

A few facts for you:

- Barker has been a liberal seat since the 1940's
- this is the first time Barker has had 9 candidates since 1998
- this is the first time independents have run since 2013
With 9 candidates and Independents included on the ballot could it be the year that Barker decides it wants to move away from the Majors?

I am standing for all of those who have been impacted by the current government's decisions that have impacted us far too many times. I am standing so that we don't have to travel to Canberra and protest our freedoms, our freedoms shouldn't be something we have to protest. Are you sick of the current government overreach?

Do you really want the majors getting more money put back into their pockets? If you vote 1 on an independent like myself we get a bit of money back and we can give back to those who gave to us. Independents like myself solely run on out own money and donations from our community. But by voting 1 for an independent not only will you get yourself represented 100% in parliament but you will stop putting money back in the pockets of those who put you last.
