When they were selling people on the idea of a Mayor of London with more active political powers, did they say this:
“What we are looking to achieve is a placing billions of pounds in the hands of a notoriously crooked Islamic fundamentalist lawyer who is friends with terrorists. Picture Better Call Saul meets Four Lions. And we want to write his powers in such a way that he can use the whole city as a sort of giant canvas for his own views. We want him to be able to troll every non Muslim in the country, really, who will constantly be confronted with giant billboards praising Islam every time they go anywhere near London. We want him to fund giant Islamic get togethers and tweet about how great it is that there is not one single white person in the picture.
We want public areas set aside for massive Islamic prayer sessions, and of course we want every Islamic group to feel comfortable and welcome when harassing Jews or marching around with the flags of genocidal terrorist organisations. We’d like him to change every street name and rip down every statue that suggests any pride in Britain, and make sure his budget is big enough to accommodate paying for new statues. These will be exclusively ugly and soul destroying, and will include an odd mix of things like Muslims you never heard of before and pregnant men. Basically he’s going to be able to spunk away huge amounts of money on trolling and covering the city in every language that isn’t English, whilst alleged conservatives don’t even mention it, let alone complain, because they are terrified of being called racist.
And while doing this he’s going to trouser money for him and his friends and incessantly tell you what England is, what London is, what your values are, what your nation is about, in such a way as to make it very, very clear that you have been conquered and replaced and are now supposed to celebrate it.”
