'My emotions are just overwhelming'- Russian pilot Yaroshenko back home following prisoners exchange with the US

Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, who was exchanged for US citizen Trevor Reed in April, returned to his city of Rostov-on-Don.

"The feeling is the joy that I am finally back home after 12 years. It finally happened. Now I'm here in Rostov - I can't explain all the feelings I have. My emotions are just overwhelming. Especially, my guys, my friends met me, that's something", Yaroshenko shared.

Yaroshenko was arrested in 2010 in Liberia and brought to the US, where he was found guilty of drug trafficking. The Russian did not plead guilty. In 2016, he was denied a review of his case.
