So as per Paul Murray on Sky news last night was reading some figures out, how does the renewables stack up, from 6pm to 7pm on 22/6/22 Australia used just a bit under 30,000megawatts, the Government want to go renewable energy sooner than later, renewables make up 27% if the sun is shining, the wind is moving plus hydro power, with Coal and Gas making up the difference, here is where it does not calculate, NSW is building the largest battery in the world to store power which will hold, wait for it, 1200megawatts, now compare this to what Australia used in one hour on the 22/6/22, we would need 25 of these batteries which would cost the tax payer over $800milion and run the country for one hour, but only if the resources Sun, Wind etc. are producing, with the push to put fossil fuel vehicles to sleep, they want us to buy a electric vehicle which is even more electricity consumed, if you calculate what it takes to manufacture these renewables from the ground to producing power, it does more damage to our Earth than what they have calculated/costing, for every 82,000tonnes of Lithium extracted from the Earth, it takes 5trillion litres of water which is contaminated and unusable, also on the flip side, what happens to these renewables once they expire, in the next ten years, just wind farm turbines will create 40million tonnes of landfill world wide, but remember what they are manufactured from Carbon Fibres, Resin Material etc. these materials will not break down, even after a million years. are we heading down a dead end one way street, me thinks so, our Government is so disillusioned if they think this is the way, we need better renewables than the ones they are trying to force upon us, but only if there is one, it doesn't make sense, but you can't fix stupid?❤️ ?
