Defamation Documentary Anti Semitism (2009)


Defamation (Hebrew: השמצה‎; translit. Hashmatsa) is a 2009 documentary film by award-winning filmmaker Yoav Shamir. It examines antisemitism and, in particular, the way perceptions of antisemitism affect Israeli and U.S. politics.

A major focus of the film is the Anti-Defamation League.

Defamation won Best Documentary Feature Film at the 2009 Asia Pacific Screen Awards.

Norman Finkelstein on the Holocaust Industry - Jerm Warfare

Norman Finkelstein is a political scientist, activist, professor, and author. His primary fields of research are the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and the politics of the Nazi holocaust.
A couple of decades ago he wrote a book called The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the Exploitation of Jewish Suffering, in which he exposes the wide array of organisations and individuals who claim to be defenders of Jews and Nazi holocaust victims while, in reality, serving their own interests.
He goes on to say that the Nazi holocaust has been elevated to an event in history so unique that, to even suggest that the suffering of any other group of people might possibly be just as tragic (or worse) constitutes “Holocaust denial”.

David Cole on Auschwitz and gas chambers

April 14th, 2021



David Cole, a Jewish journalist and researcher, made a documentary in 1992 in which he visited Auschwitz and interviewed Franciszek Piper, the head of the museum’s archives.
In the film, David investigates the discrepancy surrounding Auschwitz’s claims presented to millions of tourists. For example, below, the left plaque was later replaced with the right plaque after researchers asked probing questions.

The battle of ideas is not about silencing legitimate conversations. Furthermore, whether or not you agree with the talking point, the more that it is censored, the more you should be asking why. Historical events should never be monopolised, and nobody has a right to be protected by conversations they dislike.

As comedian Steve Hughes says, nothing happens when you're offended; you won't get leprosy.

If you take offence, then do not watch.

Labelling somebody a “denier” is a communist-style attempt to silence dissenting views.

A climate change denier is somebody who is sceptical of the official narrative.
A Holocaust denier is somebody who is sceptical of the official narrative.
A Covid denier is somebody who is sceptical of the official narrative.

If somebody labels you a “denier”, then you can safely assume you’re doing something right.
