Rusland wil eigen tribunaal om 'misdaden in de Donbas te berechten'

Rusland wil een eigen tribunaal oprichten waarmee het land Oekraïners kan berechten voor oorlogsmisdaden. Dat zei Aleksandr Bastrykin, het hoofd van een Russische onderzoekscommissie die misdaden onderzoekt, in een interview met de staatskrant Rossijskaja Gazeta.

Bastrykin, een functionaris die dicht bij president Poetin staat, zei dat Rusland 1300 strafzaken start tegen ongeveer 400 personen die misdaden gepleegd zouden hebben in de Donbas in Oost-Oekraïne. Deze mensen kunnen berecht worden zodra het tribunaal is geïnstalleerd.
