? A SATIRE CHANNEL
GREAT COMMENT TO THIS - COPIED & PASTED ?
While this is satire, it has sparked a thought. They are purposely doing this to make passwords seem “inconvenient”. So you succumb and move over to biometrics, which cannot be anonymous or private, perfect for Trusted Digital ID.
I saw a related news article recently where Microsoft, Apple and Google are joining forces to move beyond the password using biometrics like iris or fingerprints or face print, for any scenario where passwords are used, not just for unlocking your phone as Apple has now.
This is a similar strategy as they are using with cash.
Removing ATMs, closing bank branches, multinational owned shops and restaurants no longer accepting cash, limiting the self checkouts that take cash and reducing the manned tills. It is all just to make cash “inconvenient”.
So you succumb and move over to biometrics and entirely digital commerce.
Government services are also going this way. Where you used to be able to easily get paper forms (as PDF) on various government departments websites, they now hide them and make you follow a mystery trail of dozens of links to either find the form or find out you need to order it to get posted to you.
They are deliberately making it “inconvenient”. So you succumb and move over to myGov / Digital ID.

FB SELLS PERSONAL DATA
It turns out today's criminals don't need to download Tor and head to the dark web to get their hands on your data, as the private details of thousands of pensioners in the UK are available on normal Facebook groups.
BBC Breakfast Live was apparently able to purchase the details of 1,000 people living in Britain for just £160.
The personal data was said to include names, home addresses, email addresses, estimated net worth as well as estimated income bracket.
Who are they targeting?
Wealthy pensioners are particularly at risk, the BBC says, with many Facebook posts advertising sets of data with tags such as “rich people”, “high income”, “home owners”, and “old age”.
