A cruise ship has returned to Western Australia after a Covid outbreak on-board.

According to The Guardian, the Coral Discoverer has docked at Broome as WA authorities are working to contain an undisclosed number of positive cases.

Infected passengers and close contacts are isolating while crew members and other passengers are being tested.

All cruises operating in the state must have a Covid-19 management plan, while all crew and passengers will need to be double-dose vaccinated and have their third dose if eligible.
