“Weather bomb”? “rain bomb”? Give me a break. We’ve had five floods in Queensland since 2011. Anyone remember the tidal wave through Toowoomba that wiped out Grantham? The flood that took out Drift restaurant in Brisbane? This recent flood hasn’t reached 2011 levels yet. Anyone else notice the pressers now are all about the “disaster” and number dead in the floods? So as Covid fever dissipates we need something else to ramp up the fear and keep us hiding under our beds?
