Pisa, Italy - Amid the substantial increase in sudden deaths and heart attacks in youth, the Tuscany region, in partnership with the JUST association (JUvenile Sudden DeaTh association), will launch an unprecedented "genetic analysis screening" of students in elementary and middle schools across the region. Their objective is to compile a "comprehensive genetic regional database" which they claim will facilitate "understanding and prevention" of such cases.
