BEAM attributed the fact that Asket's hair colour appears light blond instead of brownish as in reality to the radiation in the spaceship. When he was later confronted with the pictures of the doppelgangers, BEAM stopped the sale of the three existing photos. Later, however, Ptaah confirmed that BEAM's photos really showed Asket, but that some manipulations by "foreign forces" had been made on the pictures, etc.

During the so called "Great Journey" , when BEAM had the opportunity in 1975 to travel during five days through the vastness of the universe and even " across" to a " twin creation" (to DAL-"Universum" ), he used the opportunity to take over 1000 photos of many different objects both in space and during the excursions on different worlds. He was also allowed to take some photos of Asket and Nera, which, however, appeared a bit foggy and blurred due to the different radiation in the spaceship. The fact that BEAM's opponents in the USA found two doppelgangers (which by the way had been mentioned in a contact report before), the singers/dancers Michelle DellaFave and Susan Lund (from the " Dean Martin" show), led to the accusatory claim that BEAM had taken the photos of Asket and Nera from a TV set.

Even though the exact manipulations cannot be determined: There are obvious differences to the photos from the show (see markings), which suggests that they were not taken from a TV set.
