We must immediately change course to cheap power sources so Australian businesses and families can thrive.

It is time to end the failed renewables experiment. They are causing higher power bills, never before seen unreliability and the results are only just starting to show.

The solution isn't to throw more money into renewables which are making the problem worse already.

A Nambour family business has been left shell-shocked after its electricity bill increased almost 400 per cent, with a peak business industry body warning rising energy costs were a “critical concern”.

The staggering price rise quoted by provider AGL would mean 80 per cent of Mr Anderson’s business expenses would go to paying for power.
