Intellect is no good on its own. We are aware of other examples of people who are extremely good at analysing data, but nonetheless do not interpret it correctly in the greater context of life. For example, a doctor who has a brilliant capacity to absorb knowledge about which material substances effect the cells of a human body, but completely neglects to perceive and be cognisant of the profound effect that love and the power of thought has on the healing process. Another example is someone who has a brilliant grasp of history and economics and politics, and even sociology, but does not have sufficient empathy to appropriately apply that knowledge to advancing humanity, not realising that the make up of peoples' psyches and personalities constitute a large part of reality.
