OPINION: When the federal government walked away from our human rights charter and the protections provided to us of our right to refuse medical intervention, it gave state governments carte blanche to enact some of the worst human rights violations in modern history, including punishing Australian children and adults who refused to take an experimental vaccine.

Only a few political parties have defended our right to choose. The Liberal Democrats, the United Australia Party, One Nation, and the minor Great Australia and Australia 1 parties all came out in support of us as did brave Independents. The Liberals, Nationals, Labor, and the sneering Greens, on the other hand, exploited their authority to deny every Australian the right to choose.

In fairness - some Liberals did cross the floor, including Senator Gerard Rennick and ex Liberals George Christensen and Craig Kelly.

Aside from the people who comply with anything their preferred government orders them to do, only a small percentage of the others that did get the jab did it willingly, without reservation and under no duress. This is not a criticism by the way - just my observation. I am all for choice - freedom of choice.

Most Australians had the two jabs because they were worried or shamed into it by the narrative, or forced to so they could keep their job, or visit loved ones in aged care and some did it solely on the promise (later reneged) that theyd be allowed their freedoms back and to travel if they agreed to two jabs. Then it was three with a warning of four or five or how ever many it takes (Daniel Andrews).

As I mentioned - some didnt think twice - they got jabbed and went on with their daily life, a good mindset I agree if not for what was to follow.

The government and media even created a two tiered society which unbelievably, many people complied with and supported. Im still trying to get my head around that.

Familes, mates and co-workers who simply said no thanks to the jab were often shunned, humiliated by the media, harassed and attacked by the police and persecuted by tyrant Premiers like Daniel Andrews, Palachook, Mc(clown)Gowan, Gunner and Marshmallow.

Do you remember the deputy police commissioner in a press conference inciting hatred against anti-mandate protestors by calling them bat-**** crazy? Or VicPol discharging ammunition into and bashing unarmed civilians because they just wanted their jobs and their freedom back? And none worse than Daniel Andrews at inciting hatred in our society when promoting peace and harmony was so badly needed.

Our mates lost their jobs, long time friendships, suffered marriage break ups, experienced mental health trauma (especially children and family providers). Some people were exiled by families. Many of us went through Christmas being banished from the family home. Kids, teenagers and young adults in particular are the forgotten victims of this massive human rights abuse by the Federal and state governments.

Yet here we are, in 2022 and lo and behold, unjabbed Australians didnt end up infecting and killing the rest of the country. Those unjabbed Aussies are also not dropping dead from sudden heart attacks, heart injury, having bells palsy, HIV, hepatitis and stroke. Hmm ..... who knows whats good luck and whats bad luck.

But to the point of this comment - Im flipping the bird to the major parties. They can all go get stuffed.

But I also thank them for in their failure to consider the well being of all Australians they made me look outside the circle, or perhaps more directly, forced me to look outside the circle.

My vote and my spare time is going to the one party who (in my view) has found middle ground, sensible policy and above all, founded on Libertarian values. For the first time in my life I joined a political party.

So dont be surprised if minor parties reshape the Government as voters put Greens last, Labor second last, the Nationals third last, the Liberals fourth last and put the minor parties as their top 1,2 and 3rd choices.

Weve all heard that on election day, voters often arrive armed with baseball bats. Of course, thats a metaphor, but I have a feeling those figurative baseball bats will swing high and fast in this years federal and Victorian state elections.
