When I think of the number of morons that I've encountered over the years who go around pontificating about how Rene Levesque ruined Quebec with his policies, and how Montreal should have been what Toronto became, I always tell them that they don't realize how LUCKY they are that Montreal didn't become modern-day Toronto and that it was Levesque who saved Montreal from becoming what Toronto has become.
