On April 6, Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng met with the new US Ambassador to China Burns. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on Sino-US relations and international and regional issues of common concern.
Earlier, Ambassador Burns handed over a copy of his credentials to the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 2.
