Lismore on the Northern Rivers had a fantastic response from the army helping out. I was told by a real estate sales rep this morning how people were struggling to clean up the mountains off destroyed property and a group of soldiers in uniform came marching by with one of them saying, "Hello ladies" to a group of women struggling in the mess, and they kept marching on. Then others took photos of these helpful military men whom the media were photographing as they wheeled a barrow load of rubbish for a short distance and then tipped it all out on another pile a few meters away! It was all for show! The army guys were only there for show - not to help! There were many witnesses to these events. The government's response to the crisis is a total disgrace and a sham. Only people in Lismore were included in the government's $1000 handout to victims. The people of Woodburn, Ballina, Mullumbimbi, Wardel and other places totally decimated were NOT included in this "generous" handout! Scott Morrison, you are a disgraceful and pathetic, self-serving individual who has a hell of a lot to answer for! Your days as the country's leader are numbered!
