The spring motor provides 30 minutes of wind when fully wound. Today we need batteries or electricity for everything! For the past 100 years, has the technological development of devices (including patent locking) that can be very cheap or free to use been artificially suppressed? Not to mention the ecological benefits that are all the rage right now...
