Und die Biodiversität, das sei erklärt, umfasst sämtliche Lebensformen gemäss ihren Gattungen und daraus durch natürliche Kreuzungen oder durch Genmanipulation abgespaltene Arten. Es umfasst dabei die Biodiversität die gesamte Fauna und Flora – wozu eben auch der Mensch gehört –, wobei alle die Lebensformen sowohl auf der Erde, in der Erde, in den Gewässern, Höhlen usw., wie auch in der Atmosphäre leben, weil eben unterschiedliche Lebensräume gegeben sind.
