FLCA PUBLISHING UPDATE ON GENESIS AND
NEW PUBLISHING DIRECTIVES FOR GERMAN-ENGLISH
BOOK TRANSLATIONS FROM FIGU / SSSC

To all our donors and the worlwide FIGU Community there have been many setbacks in our release of our latest book publishing project of “Genesis” by Billy.

Initially, FLCA expected to release Genesis by Spring 2024 and in our last newsletter in March 2024 it was pushed towards the Fall of 2024. Due to several compounding circumstances we are now looking to its release in 2025. We would like to clarify and explain the delay for its release with the following notes:

-The initial translation done by FLCA member, the late Jimmy Chen, was already finished and ready to publish but due to his sudden passing caused delay.
-In addition, the original files were all done on publishing software that other FLCA members were not using or familiar with and therefore, existing files were not compatible in format.
