SEC Newgate Research Partner David Stolper says various Indigenous leaders have hurt the chance of a successful referendum by “coming out and being opposed” to Australia’s Voice to Parliament.
“I think also, in a way, it is a little bit of a victim of the times – people are prioritising other issues far more strongly,” Mr Stolper told Sky News Australia.
