The very first mask mandate in Qld was in January 2021. Nobody was vaccinated because the rollout didn’t start until February. I was at the shops until about 5pm and the mask mandate was due to start at 6pm. No one was wearing a mask. Not even the workers in the shops. I guess they were waiting until 6pm on the dot because they clearly were not scared of the virus.

Today I went to the shop and I saw about 10 people wearing masks, including the lady on the checkout who was double masked. It’s not mandated. The premier only encouraged people to wear one. People are more scared of the virus now when the majority of the population have supposedly been vaccinated than they were before the vaccine.

Guaranteed the only people wearing masks when they don’t have to are the vaccinated.
