❗️Trust in US Media hits Record Low - Don't believe it, don't want to read it?
A new Reuters poll has revealed a whopping 42% of Americans "actively avoid" the news, while only a quarter actually trust the information.
It's claimed that those who identify on the right of politics view the news as biased, and those on the left feel overwhelmed and worried by it.
"Roughly 100 million American adults are not getting their news needs met," a former Times journalist told The Washington Post. Digital-era consumption habits have been partly blamed with news now everywhere.
But one agency founder suggested the narrative has undergone "massive simplification" - which doesn't reflect the world: "Good Ukrainians, bad Russians" - but the founder of Orb Media highlights Iraqis were dubbed terrorists.
