My letter to the Minister for Finance asking that the generous gold plated pensions paid to retired bureaucrats, excluding Military personal be means tested in accordance with the age pension.
The current undiscounted value of pension liabilities is $335 billion of which $137 billion is for just 40,509 bureaucrats who will be paid over $75,000 annually, regardless of other income and assets.
This is three times greater than the age pension. This is a classic example of some pigs are more equal than others.
