USA compared to Aus petrol prices comparison
$5 US a gallon or Aus $7.20 (@ $1US to $1.44 Aus.)
Now it is approx 4 lt per gallon (1 Gal = 3.78 Lt) 4 lt or 1 gal in Australia costs $8.00 Aus or US $5.55 @ $2 per litre approx So we are on par with the USA I expect oil prices (per barrel) or should I say petrol at the pump to nearly double in price in the next six to twelve months.
