.
Just a general comment.
I personally don't agree with the "..throwing the baby out with the bath-water.." philosophy when it comes to incoming information.
It reminds me of: "..believe everything the media says.." philosophy.
Generalisations are bs
(that's funny.. think about it..)
I'm not saying Im always right
( ?? ), however...
The hater extremist stuff is real.
I'm not going to respond to ridicule and trolling about it.
I'm not going to pretend that everything the government does is bad..or good.
I am not a conspiracy theorist and I disagree with some of what the freedom movement does and how they do it.
I sit somewhere between what Senator Roberts and Mike Adams espouse - and while that is a huge divide . . . I think about each issue that comes across my desk and I do not give the 'blanket approach'
ie: the government did it so it must be wrong, bad, conspiratorial OR the freedom movement believe it so it must be true.
I know people who work for government. Some of my best intel comes from them.
I know people who are deep in the freedom movement. Some of my best intel comes from them.
There's also a hell of a lot of bs in the freedom movement.
I am not in favour of slandering people.
I am in favour of investigating issues properly before making a decision on "right" or "wrong", instead of following on from what the herd says.l (which is what they've been led to believe).
That's what Aussie_News is about -
separating what's real and what's not . . . it works a lot of the time.
At times I wonder if any of it is real.
I'm also in favour of 'playing nice'.
I've had a gutful of online haters and have no 2nd thoughts about bouncing them out.
When they whine about "..muh free speech..waaaah" perhaps they should have thought about being a humane being before spewing crap over anyone who can read.
Aussie_News, maintaining standards of common decency.
That's all.
