FROM TOPHER FIELD, Creator of Battleground Melbourne Documentary :
Hi supporter,
Did you notice how NONE of the major parties wanted to talk about covid during the Federal Election campaign? You can bet they won't want to talk about it during the Victorian campaign either!
If we want people to remember, (and we do!) then it's up to us to remind them, and Battleground Melbourne is by far the best way to do it.
That is why I will soon be releasing Battleground Melbourne on both DVD and Bluray!
This is the first step in my campaign to ensure that the Victorian people remember what was done to them and vote accordingly in November.
The idea is that you don't just put your copy of Battleground Melbourne on the shelf, but that you'll take it to friends houses or invite them to yours, have a BBQ and then watch Battleground Melbourne together!
We're even making 5-packs available at a discount so you can give some copies away to others and help spread the word.
My team are hard at work finalising all the artwork including the 16 page booklet that will come with the DVD and Bluray, and getting ready for the logistical challenge of shipping out what we hope will be hundreds, if not thousands, of DVDs and Blurays.
In addition to the DVDs and Blurays, we will also be offering A2 and A3 size posters for you to display in your home or elsewhere to start conversations with people who visit you:
and we are re-launching our line of tee shirts, this time using the latest film-based fabric printing techniques to create a stretchy and loooong lasting print!
In addition to the existing designs we are adding an all new Battleground Melbourne design which includes a QR code that works, so people can simply scan the shirt and it will take them directly to www.battlegroundmelbourne.com
That's right, the government made us all use QR codes, now it's time to turn the tables and use QR codes against them!
(Design is still being finalised)
ALL of this is to achieve one thing: To get more Victorians to watch Battleground Melbourne before the election in November! So that we can finally Sack Dan Andrews.
I need your help. You can join this campaign by equipping yourself with:
• a hard-copy of Battleground Melbourne (plus a few to give away)
• a tee shirt or hoodie to wear outside
• plus a poster to start conversations with visitors
and then you too will be part of our campaign to ensure that the Victorian people do NOT forget what was done to them.
We can't rely on others, we have to be willing to do this ourselves. Do not allow people to simply forget what we've been through, or who is responsible.
As a first step, please help our planning by replying to this email and letting us know how many copies you want, of either DVD, Bluray, or a mix of both, and how many posters, tee shirts or hoodies and in what sizes!
Prices are being finalised, but at this stage is looks like we can expect prices to be approximately:
• Battleground Melbourne DVD: $24
• Battleground Melbourne Bluray: $29
• DVD 5 pack: $95 (One free DVD)
• Bluray 5 pack: $115 (One free Bluray)
• A3 Poster: $19
• A2 Poster: $29
• Battleground Melbourne Tee Shirt: $35
• Battleground Melbourne Hoodie: $89
Postage will be at cost.
There's no obligation, by replying you're not committing to definitely ordering, but your feedback will be useful to us so we can plan how many DVDs, Blurays, posters, and garments we get made! I don't want to run out, but I also don't want to make twice as many as I need!
I believe that Battleground Melbourne is our greatest weapon in the lead up to the Victorian State Election in November. So please help me to use Battleground Melbourne effectively, and let's Sack Dan Andrews in November.
Topher Field.
