TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT - AVOID M1 SOUTHBOUND, You CAN go north bound but CANNOT COME BACK SOUTHBOUND PAST POTTSVILLE.
THE M1 IS STILL CLOSED STH BND POTTSVILLE. You can get into kingscliff, but there is the whole M1 packed trying to do this. If you are trying to proceed south bnd past kingscliff you will be turned around to head back NTH.
The BP Chinderah has no powers either, so you can not rest there as there are absolutely no facilities.
If you can avoid driving anywhere today in this area, AVOID IT. Things should be open tomorrow. Be kind to each other, AFP & NSW Police + Rescue are trying to sort traffic going southbound, please be kind.
