Wob-document legt bom onder corona-aanpak: kabinet stuurde bewust aan op zorginfarct

Vrijwilligers zijn al weken bezig met het doorspitten van Wob-documenten die recentelijk zijn vrijgegeven over de corona-aanpak. Er is weer een interessant stuk boven tafel gekomen.
Op 19 februari 2020, daags voordat de coronapandemie werd uitgeroepen, schreef toenmalig directeur-generaal van het ministerie van Volksgezondheid Angelique Berg: “Als corona ooit – kan ook volgend jaar – maar net iets erger wordt dan een zware griep zoals we die in 2017/2018 hebben gehad, stort het zorgsysteem ineen. Dat wil zeggen, dan hebben we al heel snel te weinig bedden.”
