On the 26 April, 2024, I received an email from Bernadette Brand, in which she wrote:
“Regarding the translation of the term ‘Absolute-Nichtssein-in-Nichtbeschaffenseinexistenz’, I asked Billy and he told me this morning that you can translate the term as 'Existenceless-Nothingness', but then you should put the term ‘AbsoluteNichtssein-in-Nichtbeschaffenseinexistenz’ in brackets behind it so that the code remains intact."
«Bezüglich der Übersetzung des Begriffs ‹Absolute-Nichtssein-in-Nichtbeschaffenseinexistenz› habe ich Billy gefragt und er sagte mir heute morgen, dass ihr den Begriff als ‹Existenzloses Nichts› übersetzen könnt, jedoch sollt ihr dann in Klammer dahinter eben den Begriff ‹Absolute-Nichtssein-in-Nichtbeschaffenseinexistenz› setzen, damit der Code erhalten bleibt.»
Therefore, the whole term ‹Absolute-Nichtssein-in-Nichtbeschaffenseinexistenz› means ‘Existenceless-nothingness’ and the German term is to be added in brackets.

So why not use one of Billy’s books or one of the beautiful articles from BEAM Portal3to sink your teeth into and translate it for yourself, sentence by sentence, using any method that is available, and memorising a number of words while going about some mundane job? It is slow, but it is progress in the right direction. After all, we are supposed to internalise the teaching and practise it, so that can happen one step at a time whilst learning German.

The purpose of studying the laws of nature, i.e. the ‘Teaching of the Truth, Teaching of the Creation-energy, Teaching of Life’, is to evolve and become a real human being. In all the good English translations that are available at the present, the readers will find enough instructions on how to go about it. As one can read again and again, repetition is the key for improvement, and not ‘consumerism’ with regard to the teaching. Reading or consuming every book by Billy and discussing the content intellectually can be fun and interesting, but the true purpose of those books is to make positive changes in one’s life, to increase one’s love, peace, harmony, freedom and other great values in one’s daily life.

We urged the reader of the meditation book that, even though we have put in our best effort to provide a correct translation, he or she should study the original German text thoroughly. Of course, not everyone has the ability to study the German text thoroughly due to language barriers. So what is the solution? Unfortunately, there is no easy way out. To my knowledge there’s not one easy method or gadget on Earth that will teach us a language in three months. One has to double or triple one’s effort to learn German, for example, by getting basic tuition and surrounding oneself with German music, news, movies, etc. There are some great methods that could help, for example, the Birkenbihl method I once described in a bulletin article (https://au.figu.org/content/FLAU%20B-17.pdf). Or if one just wants to learn enough German to read Billy’s books, the book ‘German Quickly’ by April Wilson2 could possibly help. And there are many online programs one could use, for example, Duolingo, Deutsche Welle, etc. The main thing is to have a go, to make an effort, because even if we thought we won’t get far with it in this life, according to the teaching, everything we learn in this life is stored in our personal storage banks and the future personality, that will be enlivened by our current Creation-energy form, can benefit from it via impulses it receives from the storage banks. Therefore, every effort we make now will be “rewarded” sooner or later due to the law of cause and effect.

Don’t take my word for it! If I was the official translator of that book, I would consult a core group member to verify that I am on the right track and not misleading any future readers.

The above is an example of how difficult it can be to translate one of Billy’s books. So here I would like to reiterate what we wrote under ‘Acknowledgement’ in the book ‘Introduction to Meditation’:

“First of all, I would like to express my profound gratitude to ‘Billy’ Eduard Albert Meier for writing this great book and for allowing FLAU to translate it, even though he is well aware that we are contributing to the possible falsification of his work, because no matter how much we try, we cannot always find the correct English words to express the ‘Teaching of the Truth, Teaching of the Spirit *Creation-Energy+, Teaching of Life’. In particular with this book, ‘Introduction to Meditation’, even German speakers often struggle to understand parts of it. It is true that, if the German is wrongly understood by the reader, it is only a concern for him or her, but once the translator has chosen a certain translation for a term and written it down, it can actually falsify the teaching and mislead hundreds, if not thousands of readers.”
