What Sfath taught with regard to the importance of music was that the might of sound or music and its effect on human beings affects their whole life and is therefore also of great importance for their general development and education. Music has a very special effect on human beings, for the might of its tones sends out an invisible, vibratory energy and great power, which – among other effects – makes human beings who are even somewhat balanced elated, happy, peaceful, joyful, psychically comfortable, but also melancholy, sad, thoughtful and inventive, etc., which they are also able to do. Music is able to make people feel happy, peaceful, cheerful, psychically comfortable, but also melancholic, sad, thoughtful and inventive, etc., which they also consciously perceive and which also influences their consciousness-thoughts-feelings-psychic world accordingly. Furthermore, music also creates harmonious connections with fellow human beings, with nature, its fauna and flora, just as a harmonious state with creation, universal consciousness or with the universe itself normally results. Was Sfath in bezug auf die Wichtigkeit der Musik lehrte, war, dass die Macht der Töne resp. der Musik und ihre Wirkung auf den Menschen sich auf sein ganzes Leben auswirkt und also auch von sehr grosser Bedeutung für seine allgemeine Entwicklung und Bildung ist. Musik wirkt in ganz besonderer Weise auf den Menschen, denn die Macht ihrer Töne sendet eine unsichtbare, schwingungsmässige Energie und grosse Kraft aus, die – nebst anderen Wirkungen – den auch nur einigermassen ausgeglichenen Menschen beschwingt, froh, friedlich, fröhlich, psychisch wohlfühlend, wie aber auch melancholisch, traurig, nachdenklich und erfindungsfreudig usw. zu stimmen vermag, was er auch bewusst wahrnimmt und dementsprechend auch seine Bewusstseins-Gedanken-Gefühls-Psychewelt beeinflusst. Weiter schafft die Musik auch harmonische Verbindungen mit den Mitmenschen, zur Natur, deren Fauna und Flora, wie sich im Normalfall auch ein harmonischer Zustand mit der Schöpfung Universal bewusstsein resp. mit dem Universum selbst ergibt. Menschen jedoch, die der Musik und des eigenen harmonischen Gesanges abneigig sind, verspüren von all diesen harmonischen Werten – die auch die persönliche innere Friedlichkeit und Harmonie fördern – von nur sehr wenig bis überhaupt nichts. In der Regel handelt es sich bei solchen Menschen entweder um krankhaft bewusstseins-gedanken-gefühls-psychemässig gestörte und bedauernswerte Personen, oder um krass eigennützige, menschenverachtende, kleinliche, wahnmässig selbstbezogene und selbstherrliche, anstandslose, sich grossdenkende und der Korrektheit feindlich gesinnte Individuen.
