The shocking floods in South East Queensland and the Northern Beaches of NSW is very distressing Particularly the lack of support they are receiving fro Government through Police and Army involvement. People are doing it very tough, paying for their own rescue and supplies. Of course many people are donating to the cause. Hopefully the money is donated directly to the people and not through organisations who have been sadly lacking involvement during this time.
My prayers go out to all who are affected and all who are helping in the clean up. Due to my connection with Wilsons Creek and Mullumbimby areas, I feel especially saddened by the destruction of this region.
