Some more about the difference between ethos, ethics and morality
Ethos' corresponds to moral values, to an attitude created by consciousness, or to an overall attitude of morality, which corresponds to ethical consciousness. The higher the value of the ethos is, or the more comprehensive the individual, very diverse factors of attitude are, the higher the character and thus the ethical behaviour is formed, so that a high ethos also determines a high ethical or strong character action and behaviour of the human being.

‹Ethos› entspricht sittlichen Werten, einer vom Bewusstsein erschaffenen geprägten Gesinnung, resp. einer gesitteten Gesamthaltung, was einem ethischen Bewusstsein entspricht. Je höher der Wert des Ethos ist, resp. je umfänglicher die einzelnen sehr vielfältigen Gesinnungsfaktoren sind, desto höher ist der Charakter und damit das ethische Verhalten gebildet, folgedem also ein hohes Ethos auch ein hohes ethisches resp. charakterstarkes Handeln und Verhalten des Menschen bestimmt.
