For a few short seconds, beginning at 33:16, we see some peaceful human beings, smiling, holding each other’s hands, moving in a circle together, etc. Whether staged or capturing a social or cultural ritual, such kinds of group movements and dances used to be prevalent in many cultures around the world.
Today, they would appear as anything but normal in modern societies. Even the American country style line dancing, familiar to many Americans, seems rigid and unnatural compare to traditional folk dances of diverse cultures.
Human beings are not meant to be machines, nor are machines that look like human beings suitable replacements for human beings.
But the genie is forever out of the bottle.
