Goblet of Truth «- Chapter 2
In the name of the truth of the
laws and recommendations
of the primal power (Creation)
371) Be certain (knowing) that if you give your goods and chattels and wealth from your strongbox (savings) and alms (gifts) in an appropriate measure for the purpose of the truth without harming yourselves in these things, then you are the same as a seed of corn that grows seven ears and has one hundred grains in every ear, because in this wise you multiply the teaching of the truth through your gifts for everyone who spreads it, and also for those who want to recognise it and be connected to it; and make donations according to your sense and whatever is right for you, then you are gracious to the unknowing ones who are searching for the truth and to those who are in need of alms (gifts).

371) Seid gewiss (wissend), wenn ihr Hab und Gut und Reichtum aus eurer Schatulle (Erspartes) und Almosen (Gaben) in angemessener Weise hingebt für die Sache der Wahrheit, ohne dass ihr euch in diesen Dingen schädigt, dann seid ihr gleich einem Samenkorn, das sieben Ähren treibt und hundert Körner in jeder Ähre hat, denn in dieser Weise vermehrt ihr durch eure Gaben die Wahrheitslehre für alle, die sie verbreiten, und auch für jene, welche sie erkennen und ihr zugetan sein wollen; und spendet nach eurem Sinn und wie es euch gefällt, so ihr den Unwissenden huldreich seid, die nach der Wahrheit suchen, wie auch jenen, welche der Almosen (Gaben) bedürfen.
