"Elder's Meditation of the Day - June 21
"The God that people reject is not the true God, it is a God they have conjured up apart from proper education, and understanding. In such cases, the least Fools Crow will do is to call their assumptions into question, and force them to reevaluate their position."
--Thomas Mails on Fools Crow, LAKOTA
Inside of every person - man, woman, and child - is the knowledge that there is a Supreme Being. Many of us have been taught that the Creator is a punishing God. We have been taught about feelings of guilt and shame when we do things wrong. We have been taught that God gets angry and disappointed with us. The Elders teach us that the Creator is a loving and forgiving God. He loves us during our good days and He loves us during our bad days. He doesn't know how to do anything but love. If I really want to find out about the true God, I only need to ask in prayer. There is one thing that God cannot do and that is refuse help to one of His children who asks.
My Creator, I ask You to be a part of my life today. Whisper to me Your wisdom. Let me feel Your presence. If I am doubtful and afraid, show me, in terms I can understand, You are real."
I wrote this......
"Tossing up if to add, or not. Suppose now the answer obvious. And why the internal struggle?
Because we really have no way of containing anything truly Divine in the limitations of our mind.
Creation. Doesn't even register. We just use it as a label, maybe at best. How do make what it takes, to even make a single grain of sand? (The trees, the forests the oceans) For all of that to come together as we experience it.
Infinity. No ability to hold the concept anywhere close inside us. Something without end or beginning
infinity. Try to hold that, or feel it, you'll get no where close.
Timeless. An existence where time no longer as a grip. To be without time, totally.
Universe. We have enough trouble trying to imagine the distances in our solar
system. Let alone our galaxy, or the billions of others and then a few billion more.
The scale just beyond anything we can comprehend.
And yet to "commune" with "it", in our own way we can.
I have, twice now, been granted access to, privileged enough, blessed, deliberately shown, ready for, whatever. To try to understand the concept of just "infinity", only this one. Both through a form of meditation.
Both times was safe and not out of balance in anyway. But for sure pushing boundaries, I would have to admit, totally.
Both times, gently at first a starting point expressed. Then expanded on, as if watching a movie, going on a journey.
The scale of what was seen, just kept getting larger and larger. Things speed up to where what was previously massive was made tiny. Something else to take it's place. Then again and again and more, and more.
It (the experience) got to the point where I had to withdraw, totally.
The "infinity of it" was beyond what my body and mind could contain. It felt like I was going to perish, if I stayed a moment longer.
We really have no way of "boxing something up" like this via our comprehension.
Then they is the "not chaos" part to be considered. For from which set of rules is matter made from chaos that should be all there is? But it is not that matter even exists, important for the example. It is that there a set of "rules" if you like to make things "not chaos". When was the creation of the rules, that made creation itself possible.
For these rules abound everywhere, all the time, everywhere. Otherwise existence across just this Universe wouldn't be possible.
How is balance to keep things "ordered" communicated across all of it, without limitation of distance or time. For it happens instantly everywhere in all moments of the exact same time.
And yet we think we can get close to putting "the divine" in some sort of mental framework. The Essence, call it whatever you like. Is so far beyond our comprehension of anything, we could possible fathom.
And yet still to commune is exquisite.
And yet when we look around, perhaps at ourselves in a mirror. We see something no more removed from it than a drop of water in the ocean. In all the oceans, everywhere.
Disconnected from, "The Essense", non of us can or could ever be. For it was from it, through it, and into it, we were created.
After a good period of consideration and personal experience.
If there was a language, an energy, something powerful enough to try to capture "it" in thought.
Only one answer can I find.
LOVE
Without limitation of time, space, distance, level or expression of creation, seen and unseen.
LOVE
And perhaps a last little head bender, if you like.
If what we are told is true, that we have been created by this "it" whatever it is? And now that we can't be in existence outside of it and all things around us.
What does that mean we are?
What does that mean everything around us, seen or unseen, touched or untouched, is?
And further still we could go. Frequency, Vibration, Resonance, just the start."
