The Birch Ensemble or Beryozka is a famous Russian Folk Dance troupe who, you might even say, are the cultural and diplomatic "special forces" of the Motherland. Serving to melt the ice of mistrust between nations through the use of their art. For over 70 years the Beryozka has been sharing the Russian idea of beauty with the world. The troupe's official name is the State Academic Choreographic Ensemble Berezka. Berezka meaning "little white birch tree."
