Musk Secures $7.14bn Twitter Funding From Saudi Prince, Larry Ellison
Elon Musk has secured $7.14bn of funding towards his Twitter takeover from investors including Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, Sequoia Capital, Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal among others.
A filing made Thursday also signalled Musk’s margin loan was reduced from $12.5bn to $6.23bn as Ellison - also a board member at Tesla - committed $1bn, with Qatar Holding and Dubai-based Vy Capital also involved.
Twitter shares were up by around 2.9% on the news.
