I find it difficult to write something here ... I'm so used to self-censorship to protect my reputation (work) that being able to tell the world what I'm working on is hard.
I tried explaining it on LinkedIn and my post was taken down and my knuckles severely smacked.
I tried telling my friends on Facebook and apparently my job is against community standards - at least the side I'm on - so in danger of being thrown into Facebook jail for a month - for talking about my job!
I obviously fared no better on Twitter - which I'm only on because back when I got my first degree Twitter was king - what with the Arab Spring etc ... (funny how Twitter was all about bringing free speech to nations then eh?)
So here I am - finally able to speak the unspeakable without fear or shame or ridicule.
Friends - I am a lawyer fighting the Western Australian government mandates - and I'm about to take on the Australian Human Rights Commission which has sat on its fat hands these past 2 years while our freedoms have been taken away.
Oh my, yes, that does feel better.
Funny aside - I came to the law late in life and my husband and I both hate lawyers - so you can imagine how hard it is to admit I am one
